1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PalkarMatch mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

PalkarMatch is a matrimony platform designed to help members of the Saurashtra community find suitable life partners. These terms govern your use of the app and all related services.

2. Eligibility

To use PalkarMatch, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally eligible to enter into a marriage under applicable law
  • Not have been previously suspended or removed from the platform
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use PalkarMatch. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your profile information up to date
  • Not create multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of others without their consent
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

All profiles are subject to review and approval by our team. We reserve the right to reject or remove any profile that does not meet our guidelines.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile
  • Upload obscene, offensive, or inappropriate photos or content
  • Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten other users
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimony matchmaking
  • Impersonate another person or create fake profiles
  • Collect or harvest other users' personal information
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
  • Share contact information of other users without their consent
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation or advertising

5. Profile Review and Approval

All profiles submitted to PalkarMatch are reviewed by our team before being made visible to other users. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve or reject profiles at our sole discretion
  • Request additional information or verification
  • Remove or suspend profiles that violate these terms
  • Mark profiles with issues and request corrections

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

PalkarMatch offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features such as viewing contact details, profile boosting, and premium access.

  • Plan prices are displayed in the app and may change at any time
  • Payments are processed externally (bank transfer, UPI, etc.)
  • Plans are activated after payment verification by our team
  • Plan benefits are valid for the specified duration from the date of activation

7. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our services, refunds are generally not available once a subscription plan has been activated. However:

  • If your payment was processed but the plan was not activated within 3 business days, contact us for resolution
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing you from using paid features, contact our support team
  • Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

To request a refund, email us at palkarmatch@gmail.com with your profile ID and payment details.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and features of the PalkarMatch app are the intellectual property of PalkarMatch and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the app without our written consent.

By uploading photos and content to your profile, you grant PalkarMatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the app for matchmaking purposes. This license ends when you delete your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

PalkarMatch is a platform that facilitates introductions between users. We do not:

  • Guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, or truthfulness of any user profile
  • Conduct background checks or verify the identity of users
  • Guarantee that you will find a suitable match
  • Take responsibility for the outcome of any interaction between users

PalkarMatch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or reliance on information provided by other users.

Users are advised to exercise due diligence and verify information independently before making any decisions.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate any of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your profile contains false or misleading information
  • We receive complaints from other users about your conduct
  • You engage in any activity that harms the platform or its users

You may also request deletion of your account at any time through the Settings screen. Account deletion is processed within 3 business days.

11. Privacy

Your use of PalkarMatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of PalkarMatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
